TOP PERSONAL INJURY LAW FIRM BREAKS RANKS OVER REFERRAL FEES

Minster Law, a leading law firm specialising in personal injury work for victims of road traffic accidents, has spoken out in support of referral fees. They submitted their views on February 26 to the Legal Services Board as part of an investigation into referral arrangements.

Prepare for MoJ RTA PI Claims Process Reforms – 58 Days to go

Organisations have been given an extra 24 days to prepare for and test XML Schema interfaces to the electronic communications portal developed to support adherence to the reforms, the new claims process for Low Value Road Traffic Accident Personal Injury claims which will commence 30th April 2010.

The MoJ has postponed the implementation date for the new RTA process to the 30th April 2010. This follows MASS and other stake holders lobbying the MoJ and expressing their grave concerns at the limited time available to prepare for the original date of 6th April.
